Kenneth Backman

Kenneth T. Backman, 60, of Gurnee passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Highland Park Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1951 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Egil and Eleanor (Broten) Backman. On September 12, 1982, Kenneth married the love of his life, Patti Day. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, they were together for 42 years, Patti Backman; two children, Chris (Tammy) Melzer and Jessica Backman. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dale Backman and Randy Backman. A memorial gathering will take place Friday, June 22, 2012 from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Services and interment are private.
