Juanita Ortiz

Juanita Martinez de Ortiz, 81, of Waukegan passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born on June 20, 1930 in Mexico. Juanita married Ignacio Ortiz in Mexico and he died on May 28, 1986.
She is survived by her loving children, Ana Rosa (Juan) Rosales of Waukegan, Jose Luis (Leticia) Ortiz of Waukegan, Salvador (Esperanza) Ortiz of California, Leticia (Alvaro) Cortes of Mexico, Martha Elena (Marcos) Madrigal of Mexico, Sandra Patricia (Andres) Cortes of Waukegan, Felipe de Jesus (Maria Patricia) Ortiz of Waukegan and Maria Juventina (Mauro) Madrigal of Waukegan; brothers, Ramon Martinez of Mexico, Antonio Martinez of Mexico and Ignacio (Carmen) Martinez of Waukegan; twenty-two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria and Juventina (Gaytan) Martinez, husband, Ignacio Ortiz, son, Gerardo Ortiz, brother, Jose Martinez and sister, Imelda Martinez.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 5-9 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 9 am at Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church, 508 Grand Avenue., Waukegan. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
