Joseph Edward Reinhardt 74 of Park City formerly of North Chicago, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Journey Care in Glenview.
He was born January 13, 1944 in North Chicago, IL and retired in 2006 from the Veterans Administration Hospital in North Chicago after 38 years of employment in the maintenance department. He was a member of Holy Family Church (Most Blessed Trinity) in Waukegan. Joe was an avid collector of World War II memorabilia, enjoyed walking, watching TV and hanging out with his best friend Miguel Camacho.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, one brother Charles Reinhardt of Libertyville, IL and one sister Wynell Butzine of Grayslake, IL.
He was preceded in death by one sister Vada Welch, four brothers John, Lloyd, William and Glen Reinhardt.
Friends may visit with the family from 9-11A.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Warren Funeral Home; 1475 North Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Fr. James E. Merold officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
The family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
