Joseph Kucera

Joseph P. Kucera, 84, of Lindenhurst passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst. He was born on September 7, 1926 in Chicago to Frank and Sidonia (Straka) Kucera. On June 6, 1977, Joseph married Lucille. He is survived by his children, William G. (Cathy) McMillion of Glen Ellyn, IL, Pamela (Simon) Mirabal of Grayslake and Debra (Mark) Schnur of Round Lake; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife who died on March 24, 2009, Lucille N. Kucera and daughter, Jacalyn McMillion. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Joseph was an Army Veteran serving during WWII. Arrangements entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
