Jordan Thomas Ender of Wadsworth, IL.
Born October 2, 1987 in Madison, WI, and taken from us far too suddenly and unexpectedly on February 23, 2023. He married the love of his life, Jordyn McCormack on May 26, 2019. From their first date (one of many Brewers-Cubs games) to their Vikings-Packers rivalry games and brewery tours, it was a match made in heaven. They loved each other completely. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Emily; parents, Allison and Tom; father and mother-in-law Jim and Kim McCormack; sister-in-law, Taylor and the rest of his family. Jordan (or as they would call him, JShrimp ) was also greatly loved by numerous friends. His lifelong bond with his Bumpa, Mike Schlottke, was precious.
Jordan brought a smile to the face of everyone he met and his happiness was contagious. He was such a positive, kind, thoughtful, and loving young man; great with everyone he interacted with - little kids, adults and the elderly alike. As a captain on his high school basketball and football teams at Waukesha North, Jordan was a born leader. His teammates appreciated his hard work and will to win.
As a ten year employee at Office Solution in Menomonee Falls, WI Jordan’s work ethic was evident in everything he did. He was originally hired through a temp agency and then worked his way up to management. His leadership and dedication to doing a job well will be greatly missed.
Jordan was a well-rounded man. He could talk to you about sports, politics, life and anything going on in the world. His dad will immensely miss Jordan’s afternoon calls. Their conversations about the Bucks, Brewers, Badgers, or another Vikings’ crushing defeat enriched their connection despite the miles that separated them. Jordan enjoyed being in the kitchen making great food, and one of his most requested specialties was his chocolate chip cookies; a recipe he worked on with his Mom. He also shared a love of hiking with her. Jordyn and he were saving for their dream lake house, and we can all envision him on the deck enjoying a cigar and a fine IPA.
Jordan was preceded in his passing by his beloved Nana, Barbara Schlottke. They had a very tight bond which will live on forever. We also must mention the Ender family dogs Sprocket, Ziggy, Zoey, and Zeke that he loved so much.
Shine bright in heaven, as you did on earth our beloved husband, brother and son. We love you,
Jordyn, Emily, Allison, Tom, Jim, Kim and Taylor.
