Joe "Bubba" Den Moton

Joe Den Moton (Bubba) was born February 26, 1933 in Helena, Arkansas to the late John King and Lela Floyd Moton. He departed this life on March 10, 2025. 

He leaves to cherish his memory 5 granddaughters: Shawana, Shalonda, Kaprina, Katrina, and Channia Marshall. 30 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and 1 sister: Addie B. Littlejohn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Regina and Renee Marshall; 2 grandsons, Clyde Lewis Jr. and Shannon Marshall; 2 Great-grand sons, Kenya Marshall and Izerion Cooper; 4 brothers, LJ, John, Roosevelt, and Freddie Moton; 3 sisters, Eleena Tony, Inell Ray and Ruth Wilson; 1 nephew, James Moton.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 1727 27th Street, Zion, IL 60099 at 10AM. The funeral service will begin at 10:30AM. Interment at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL to follow.
