Joan Elizabeth Reinhardt (nee Lamb), 79, passed away Aug. 22, 1012. She was born Sept. 12, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA to Richard Lamb and Rebecca Bryson Lamb.
She married Lloyd Reinhardt in 1957, schooled for two years at Stearns School, finished elementary education at Kemper Hall, graduated high school at Warren Township, attended college at MacMurray and Lake Forest college. She was a member of Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady, a Keeper Hall alumnae and member of the Art Institute of Chicago. She enjoyed sewing club, flying, painting, church and opera. Joan got her pilots license in 1955.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Reinhardt; brothers, Daniel Lamb and Carl Lamb; father, Richard Lamb; and mother, Rebecca Bryson Lamb.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; sons, Kurt (Tammy) and Neil; and grandchildren, Shelby and Tazz; brothers, Richard Lamb, Jr. and Charlie (Lesha) Lamb; sisters, Kathleen (John) Lamb and Lucy (Steve) Lamb Williamson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00 am with visitation from 9:30 am until 10:00 am at Annunciation of Our Lady Episcopal Church, 5725 Stearns School Road, Gurnee, IL 60031, 847-336-3730. Memorials may be made to the church.
