Jerry Smith

Jerry William Smith, 51 of Ingleside, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

He was born on July 29, 1968 to William Smith Sr. and Wendy Reed in El Paso, TX.  Jerry graduated from Libertyville High School in 1987.  He worked for many years as a carpenter in the Lake Barrington Shores area.  He attended Hope Community Church in Lake Villa.   On October 27, 2015 he married his wife Maria.  Jerry enjoyed wood working and fishing.

Jerry is survived by his wife Maria, his parents, William Smith Sr. and Wendy Reed, his children, Kevin and Kayla Smith, his siblings Willie Smith Jr., Tracy Rubo, Francisco Smith, Jonathon Smith, Nathan Reed and Blake Reed.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 and again from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the funeral home.  Pastor Wayne Okamoto will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be in Jerry’s name to charity of your choice.

Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
