Jeannette Vazquez

Jeannette M. Vazquez, 65, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2021 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. She was born February 18, 1956 in Adrian, Michigan to John and Lorena Riley. She married Pedro R. Vazquez on May 20, 1979 in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2016.

She worked as a tax preparer for more than 25 years, enjoyed reading, was an avid gamer especially World of Warcraft. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and looked forward to the daily phone calls with her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed gaming days and binge watching old tv shows with her son. She was also a devoted dog mom to her Chorkies Levi and Lola.

She is survived by her son Luis Vazquez, daughter Christa (Louis) Jensen; siblings Vicky (James) Turner, James Riley, Johnna Riley, J.J. Riley; grandchildren: Angelika, Anneliese, Aramis and Ahleena Jensen; Jason (Nolvia) Nieves, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her husband.

Visitation will be from 4 pm until the time of service at 5 pm on Monday, June 28 at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. 60033. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment at Warren Cemetery will be at a later date.
