Jeanette (Jenny) Radek, nee Juniewicz, 94, of Libertyville formerly of Cicero passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Winchester House in Libertyville. She was born on September 29, 1917 in Chicago. Jenny married Theodore Radek on April 16, 1917. They celebrated 44 years of marriage.
She is survived by two loving sons, James (Agnes) Radek of Madison, WI and Richard (Mary Helgren) Radek of Green Oaks, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine (Sohadolski) Juniewicz, beloved husband Theodore in 1993, daughter Peggy Ann in 1959, and, brother Stephen in 1989.
Jenny took great pride in her home, and in the accomplishments of her sons. She enjoyed cooking and needlework and especially relished camping and fishing trips to Canada with her family. The family would like to give special thanks to the 4th floor staff at Winchester House for all their love, care and compassion. We appreciate all you have done for her.
Memorial donations may be made to the Activity Department at Winchester House in memory of Jeanette.
Services are private. Interment at Woodland Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
