Jeanette Kanas

Jeanette Kanas, 81, of Chicago, passed away Dec. 27, 2016 at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville. She was born June 7, 1935 in North Chicago. She is survived by her loving children, Barbara (James) Esterquest and Margo (Angie Vega) Kanas; dearest grandsons, Brandon, Nicholas Norten; sisters-in-law, Nancy Guzelis and Bess (James) Pabin; nieces and nephews, Steven, Diane, Gail, James, Lisa, Steve, Alexis and Christine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Stephanie (Margiewicaite) Chesnowicz; beloved husband of 58 years, Tom Kanas, who passed away Nov. 16, 2014; sisters, Irene Mulkerin and Helen Vreugdenhil. Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 from 11am-1pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services at 1pm at the funeral home with Fr. James Merold officiating. Entombment at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
