Jean (Herberger) Philipp, 78, of Waukegan passed away November 18, 2011 at Winchester House in Libertyville. Born January 14, 1933, Jean Roberta Herberger married to Lawrence M. Philipp for 59 years. Survived by her twin, Jack (Audrey) Herberger; brother, Glenn (Betty Lou) Herberger; son, Dirk (Michelle) Philipp; daughters, Julie (George) Carpenter and Marcie (Greg Bonczkowski) Dixon; grandchildren, Chris, Mark, Joey, Amber, Kelly, Colleen, Katie, Amy, Kim and three great grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie and Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Margaret (Smart) Herberger and son, Theodore Philipp.
Jean attended Carroll College and was a tax preparer and avid reader.
Visitation is Monday, November 21, 2011 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are private. Burial at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
Donations may be made to Vitas Hospice.
Jean attended Carroll College and was a tax preparer and avid reader.
