Janet Washburn

Janet Lynn Washburn, 68, of Gurnee, passed away July 14, 2015 at Rainbow Hospice in Park Ridge with her family by her side. She was born March 3, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, IL. On October 5, 1963 in Waukegan at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Janet married the love of her life, Kenneth J. Washburn. Janet loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth J. Washburn; two children, Todd (Penny) Washburn of Pleasant Prairie and Kelli (Mike) Cairo of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Kyle Washburn, Josh Washburn, Adam Cairo, Sean Cairo and Ty Cairo; one sister, Murt (Robert) Fugett; brothers-in-law, Bill (Barb) Washburn and Tom (Shirley) Washburn; sisters-in-law, Louanne (Jerry) Mateja, Kathy (Dave) Ferri, Anne (Terry) Drennan, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Deward and Jean (Church) Kerley and one sister, Beverly Riddle. Visitation is Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 4-8 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee.
