Jane (Cherry) Burns, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Claridge Health Care in Lake Bluff. She was born on January 17, 1931 in Evansville, IN.
She is survived by her two loving children, Susan (Troy) Oldham of Round Lake and Jim (Denise) Burns of Aurora; grandchildren, Stephanie Oldham, Christopher Oldham and Barry Burns; sisters-in-law, Betty Cherry and Alice Newman both of Evansville; nieces and nephews, Bob Cherry, Tom Cherry, Angie Wilhite, Lisa Newman and Cara Fandel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Serel and Thelma (Davis) Cherry, beloved husband of 55 years, Edgar Burns, brother, George Cherry and brother-in-law, Del Newman.
Jane's family was her pride and joy.
Private family services. Burial at Warren Cemetery & Mausoelum, Gurnee.
