Jack Willis Sr

Jack H. Willis, Sr., 78, of Gurnee, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015. He was born on May 8, 1937 in Eldridge, Alabama. On January 26, 1957, Jack married the love of his life, Mavis. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Mavis J. Willis (Bratvold); six children, Jack, Jr. (Cyndy) Willis, Kathy (Gary) Wittlock, Sandra (Eddie) Gross, Randal (Martha Boylen) Willis, Cary (Melanie) Willis and Gary (Becca) Willis; sixteen grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Griffith, Schondra Willis, Megan (Jeff) Rutledge, Gary, Jr. (Jaymee) Wittlock, Heather (Jeremy) Buckelew, Jeremy Wittlock, Amanda (Ehren) Jannusch, Kaitlyn Gross; Michael Boylen, Brittany, Randal Jr. and Tyler Willis; Kyle Willis; Noah, Ari and Eliana Willis; ten great grandchildren, Ryan and Ashlyn Griffith; Maddie Brooke and Jaxon Rutledge; Olivia, Lily and Diesel Wittlock; Emma Buckelew, Natalie Jannusch and Michael Boylen Jr., four siblings, John R. Willis, JoAnn Harkins, Sissy Wideman, Dianne Willis, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Javis and Easter (Sharitt) Willis, four brothers William, Billy, Jerry, Tommy and one sister, Jimmie Sue Bruner. Visitation is Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services are Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
