Howard Gregorio Sr

Howard Acuna Gregorio, Sr., 66, of Beach Park passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born on October 4, 1945 in the Philippines. On February 7, 1977 in the Philippines, Howard married Felisa Balagot.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Felisa Gregorio; six children, Sonny (Evelinda) Gregorio, Howard (Rowena) Gregorio, Jr., Sheila Marie (Gerry) Dela Cruz, Suzette Gregorio, Steven (Irene) Gregorio and Shirley (Jahandar) Mohammed; twenty grandchildren, Eileen, Elizza, Ervinson, Gia, Olivia, Darryl, Leander, Levi, Lannah, Sherry, Gerryl, Jr., KC, Kyle, Karlo, Reine, Chalae, Ellijah, JP and CJ; two brothers, Roland (Daling) Gregorio and Beda (Jing) Gregorio and two sisters, Minda Gregorio and Puring (Tony) Evangelista. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gorgonio and Corazon (Acuna) Gregorio and two brothers, Benito Gregorio and Marvin Gregorio.

Howard retired from Abbott Laboratories after many years of service. He was a good cook and his specialty was making pata beans. Howard was a great dancer, a professional artist, loved to draw paintings and owned an art gallery in the Philippines. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be missed and loved forever.

Visitation is Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 11:00am-1:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the funeral home following the visitation. Interment is private.
