Heather K. Hook

Heather K. Hook, 54, of Chicago IL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. She was born December 14th, 1968, to David and Patricia Hook, in Waukegan IL. Heather graduated from Zion Benton High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Fashion Design from Harper College. Heather then pursued a modeling career that took her to many international and local events, especially the McCormick Place trade shows where she modeled for countless different events. Most recently Heather owned and operated Ladies Workout Express in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood, which was forced to close due to Covid. Heather (or LaLou as we call her) loved photography, her cat, and also walking the 606 Trail, which is near her condo.

 

Heather is survived by her parents David and Patricia Hook, her sister Tiffany (Todd) VandeZande, nieces Riah and Brynn VandeZande, and many aunts, uncles, and special cousins who love her deeply. Her beautiful heart, kind and gentle nature, will be terribly missed, but never forgotten.

 

The funeral will be a private service with her family.
