Grant Warren Paulsen, 87, of Zion, formerly of Gurnee passed away August 14, 2011 at Vista East, Waukegan. He was born on April 30, 1924 in Zion.
Survived by sons, Warren Paulsen of Zion and Cliff (Maria) Paulsen of Lake Villa; brother, Harry (Anna) Paulsen, Jr. of Zion; sister, Verna Simon of Winthrop Harbor; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Harry, Sr. and Mabel Paulsen, wife, Verna Paulsen and sisters, Marion Nelson and Betty Walker.
Grant was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII and the Korean War. He worked at the News Sun and Cherry Electric as a printer for many years.
Funeral services are Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11:00am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee with one hour of visitation prior to services at the funeral home. Burial at Millburn Cemetery in Old Mill Creek.
