Gilda Torres

Gilda Torres, 73 of Waukegan, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan.

She was born on February 19, 1947 in Waukegan to the late Antonio and Maria (Gomez) Gomez.  On November 7, 1967 she married Alejandro Torres in Waukegan, IL.

Gilda is survived by her husband Alejandro, her 8 children: Dax (Celeste) Torres, Derek (Emily) Torres, Shannon (Efrain) Torres, Fredrick Torres, Travis Torres, Ellie (Maximo Tavarez) Torres, Melinda Torres and Crystal Torres, 15 grandchildren: Elvie, Singent, Haley, Xander, Jaylyn, Tristian, Tommy, Virginia, Ruby, Christopher, Mariana, Sky, Annalycia, Gwendolyn, Deliylah

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic a private family service will take place now and a Memorial Service for the public will take place when it is safe to do so.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.

Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery is assisting the family.
