Geraldine "Geri" Sorensen

Geraldine "Geri" Sorensen passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at The Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL.  She was born on May 4, 1940 to Joseph and Helen (Porada) Mikuel.  On April 27, 1963 she married the love of her life, David Sorensen and they spent the next 58 years together.

Geri is survived by her husband, David; her children, Scott (Claudia) Sorensen, Mark (Stephanie) Sorensen, and Janie (Todd) Riepe; her grandchildren, Kailey Sorensen (fiancé Evan Sherling), and Mitchell Sorensen; and a sister, Helen Priola.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 9 - 11 a.m. at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031 with the memorial service following at 11 a.m.  Inurnment will be at Warren Cemetery.
