Gerald Dennis

Gerald L. Dennis, 90, of Beach Park (formerly of Gurnee, 43 yrs), Illinois, died Thursday, June 14th, 2012. He was born July 31, 1921 in Arkansas, son of the late Mamie Dennis. Gerald enjoyed fishing and was lovingly known by family and friends as "Perch". Gerald was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Johnson Motors in 1981. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ann Dennis, one son, Claud "Bud" (Jacqueline) Dennis, one granddaughter, Ashley (David) Johnson, two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kaidance Johnson, numerous cousins and many other family and friends. Visitation is Tuesday, June 19th, 2012, 4:00pm-8:00pm, at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, Illinois. Funeral services are Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 at 10:00am at the funeral home with Reverend Robert Bean, relative of the family, officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
