Gary Nelson

Gary R. Nelson, 66, of Gurnee passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born on February 28, 1945 in Chicago to the late Roy and Arline (nee Mueller) Nelson. On September 15, 1973 in Chicago, Gary married Donna L. Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Donna L. Nelson; two daughters, Kristin (Daniel) Allison of Greendale, Wisconson and Stacy Nelson of Gurnee; one brother, Dale Nelson of Des Plaines; two grandchildren, Kylee and Caiden Allison; six nieces and nephews, Paul, Keith, Sarah, Sherry, Jenny and Brian. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place at 5:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Tremper officiating from Immanuel Church in Gurnee. Interment will be private.
