Gary Hooker

Gary M Hooker,  age 55, of Lake in the Hills, Illinois passed away suddenly at his home on October 29th 2022.

He was born on October 29, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert (Bob) and Barbara, nee Ingersoll, Hooker,

After graduating from university he worked in the food service industry and worked his up, lastly becoming a regional director for a food service company. He married his loving wife, Lisa, in Derry Pennsylvania on March 17, 1990, in a wonderful ceremony making St. Patrick's Day even more special.  Gary's Family and Friends will remember Gary for being a devoted fan of Chicago sports, including the Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks. He also had an appreciation for fine cars, especially Mercedes Benz.  His furry buddy Turbo, a French Bulldog was his constant companion.

In addition to his loving wife Lisa, Gary leaves his two adoring children: son Trent (known best as TJ) and daughter Jillian. Gary's beloved mother Barbara Hooker also survives. Unfortunately , his father Robert (Bob) Hooker preceded him in death in 2014.

A memorial visitation and celebration of Gary's life is scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd (located on the northside of the intersection of Tri-State Parkway and Cemetery Rd.) in Gurnee, Illinois.

Many may not be aware that Gary was badly injured a few years ago and has not physically been able to work. Due to that fact, the family humbly requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gary's Family.
