Frank Gomez

Frank “Paquito” Gomez, 81 of Round Lake Beach passed away on Friday, November 29th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared for him at his beloved home.

He was born on February 28th, 1938 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio Cruz and Francisca Gomez.

Frank is survived by his wife Victoria Gomez of 48 years, his sister Paulita Santiago, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great  grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and his beloved friend Guadalupe Enriquez of 47 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, infant grandson Anthony Gianni Colon and granddaughter Crystal Gonzalez -Gomez.

Frank believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for his salvation and served in several ministry roles within church.  He enjoyed free time watching is favorite team, the Chicago Cubs. Frank was always welcoming family and friends into his home for a cup a coffee. He also enjoyed a gardening, fishing, barbequing, eating shrimp, playing dominoes and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 8, 2019, where there will be a Celebration on Life service at 6:30 P.M., and again from 10:00 to 11: 00 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the funeral home.

In honor of Frank Gomez and other leukemia survivors, the family asks that you consider a blood product donation to your local blood bank.
