Frances Marie Hall Harmon, 89, of Johnsburg, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at home with her family. She was born on November 19, 1921 in Crockett, Virginia. On June 24, 1952 in Marion, Virginia, Frances married DeVere P. Harmon. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, DeVere; one son, Ronald D. (Mindy) Harmon of Johnsburg, Illinois; four grandchildren, Amalie E. Harmon of Johnsburg, Illinois, Justin R. (Allison) Harmon of Rexburg, Idaho, Aaron P. (Kailley Howell) Harmon of Genoa City, Wisconsin and Lindsay M. Harmon of Johnsburg, Illinois; two sisters, Virginia McFarlane of Marion, Virginia, Opal (Pearl) Ratcliffe of Ft. Gay, West Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Gloria (Michael) Nemelka of Salt Lake City, Utah, Susanne Hunsaker of Salt Lake City, Utah, one brother-in-law, Gordon (Jackie) Harmon of Pocatello, Idaho and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Roy and Minnie Lee (Flanigan) Hall, one son, Vernon Roy Harmon, one brother, Herman H. Hall, one sister, Nancy Lee Murphy, one nephew, Tedd Murphy and two brothers-in-law, John Murphy and Marion McFarlane. Frances enjoyed taking care of her family and will always be loved and missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 315 McKinley, Lake Villa, Illinois. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am at the church with Bishop Jeff Trump officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee, Illinois.
