Florence Nevill

Florence Edna Nevill, Nee Schroeder (Nana) 85 of Gurnee passed away Oct 3rd. She was the secretary at Gurnee Community Church and retired after 18 incredible years. Loving and caring wife of John Junior Nevill (Boom Boom), dear daughter of the late Edna & Walter Schroeder; cherished mother to Russell Nevill, John (Boalian) Nevill, Kathy (Bill - deceased) Hatt, Paul (Sandy) Nevill and Phil Nevill; beloved sister to Eleanor Spade, Barb (Gene) Reich, Ralph (Carol - deceased) Schroeder and the late Earl (Shirley) Schroeder; aunt and cousin to many, grandmother to Alisa, Jamie, John Ryan, Becca, Renae, Josh, Jesse, Keith, Kyle, Donica and Zorba; greatgrandmother to Emilee, Kyle, Savannah, Jacie, Lily, Canon, Tyler, Jack, Ruby, Caden, Madeline, and Henry. A truly remarkable, one of a kind loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend ever to be found. She will truly be missed and forever in our hearts. Blessed is the woman that endurath, for when she hath endurath: she shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 1:12. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am after the visitation at the church with Rev. Joseph M. Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Arrangements entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
