Elva Smart

Smart, Elva Mae 92, of Waukegan, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at home. She was born on November 7, 1920 in McCrory, Arkansas. She is survived by her children, Rollin, Jr. (Betty) Benton, Doris Rush, Allen (Judy) Benton, Lamar (Carloyn) Benton; brothers, James (Lavetta) Stader, Irvin (Mary Lou) Stader; grandchildren, Jason, Sue Jean, Judy Lynn, Jody, Thad, and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chuck Smart; son-in-law, Paul Rush; three brothers; one sister and two grandsons. Elva loved to travel and see the world. She was a quilter and worked at Abbott Labs for 30 years. Private family services. Burial at Pine View Cemetery in Beach Park, IL.
