Eloise Cochran, 99 of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Manor Care Nursing Center in Kenosha.
She was born on August 10, 1921 to the late Allan and Hezzie (Rancher) Young in Eutaw, Alabama. She married Allen Cochran. He preceded her in death. Eloise loved to prepare soul food and owned the White Owl restaurant in Chicago for many years. She was a devout Catholic.
Eloise is survived by granddaughters; Leslie Cochran, April Powell, Angela Davis and Shannon Cochran; 8 great grandchildren, Louis Richardson, III, Latoya Powell, Michael Miner, CJ Miner, Paris Hunter, Derrick Davis, Frederick Washington, Jr. and Ivannah Pough; and 13 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her son Nathaniel “Archie” Cochran.
Services will be private.
Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery is assisting the family.
