Ella Stuart, 69, of Waukegan went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 4, 2011 at her home in Waukegan. She was born on February 22, 1941 in Florence, Alabama to Frank and Ida Mae (Turner) Peters.

She leaves to cherish her memory four loving children, Clayton (Paulette) Foster of Waukegan, Lynn Foster of Waukegan, Deborah (Eugene) Williams of Zion and Orlando (Michelle) Foster of Park City; seven brothers and sisters, Richard (Darlene) Peters of Oregon, Maxine (Neal) Hollingsworth of Kenosha, Landris (Ruthie) Brown of Hainesville, Minnie "Pam" (LW) Brown of Michigan, Larry (Cynthia) Brown of Florence, Alabama, Dwight (Celitha) Brown of Florence, Alabama and Olivia Peters of Michigan; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ida Mae (Turner) Peters, her first husband, Jerry Ellis who passed away in 1965, her second husband, George Stuart who passed away in 1984, one sister, Sarah Armstead and two brothers, Ray Brown and John Brown.

Ella worked at American Motors and Good Year for many years. After retiring from Good Year, she started her own business as a caretaker for many families throughout the Chicagoland area including Mrs. Eunice Johnson of Johnson Publishing in Chicago.

Family and friends may call from 10:00am until service time at 11:00am, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Ebenezer Church, 3109 Gilead Avenue, Zion, IL. The Reverend Eli Coleman will officiate funeral services at the church. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL.
