Elinor Ann Leech, (nee Stoltz), age 76, of Waukegan, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Waukegan. She was born December 13, 1936 in Normal, IL to Harlin J. "Jack" and Dorothy B. (nee Littleton) Stoltz. Elinor was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" Leech in Normal, IL on December 29, 1959.

Survived by two loving sons, Paul A. Leech of Chandler, AZ and Mark E. (Kristina) Leech of Gurnee; one sister, Janet Holcomb; two grandchildren, Vivian Louise Leech and Quincey Ann Leech, and two nephews, Trey (Tracy) Holcomb and Tyler (Janice) Holcomb. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Chuck Leech on March 22, 2008, and her mother-in-law, Mary Cestus Leech.

Elinor graduated from Normal Community High School and attended Illinois State University, Normal, IL and CLC in Grayslake, IL. Elinor retired from Abbott Labs in 1998 and Target Corporation in 2007. She was a member of the AARP and Friends of the Waukegan Public Library. Her passions were her children and grandchildren. She saw to it that her children were never in need and always tried to inspire them to be the best that they could be. Elinor will be remembered for her smile and her willingness to help those in need. She embraced new challenges, especially later in life, and experienced as much as she could. Her life became complete when she was blessed with her two precious granddaughters. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 3-7pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A memorial service is 7pm following the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Gehl Devore officiating. Interment at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.
