Eleonor Sotomayor

Eleonor Sotomayor, 75, of Zion passed away suddenly in Puerto Rico on December 18, 2013. She was born on January 8, 1938 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Luis Sotomayor; two children, Maria Colon and Hector (Angie) Colon; two grandchildren, Jason Colon and Cassie Marie Colon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon Portalatin and Prima Rivera; father of her children, Evaristo Colon; beloved daughter, Dianel Colon Reid and sister, Emilia Sotomayor. Visitation is Friday, December 27, 2013 from 4-8 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Saturday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee.
