Edgar Harvey

Edgar Charles Harvey, 89, of Zion, passes away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago. He was born on March 25, 1924 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving family; children, Mary Linda (Richard) Porter, Emma Wagoner, Marjorie "Marge" (Edward) Gaudreau and Charles (Linda) Harvey; sister, Sunny; grandchildren, Devon, Brittany, Teresa (Byron), Leasha, Robert, Louise, Steven (Jennifer), Crystal, Charles and Thann; great grandchildren, Tommy, Devon, Christian, Noah, Lucas, Jese, Austin, Sydney, Robert and his dog, Zoie. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie (Halbrooks) Harvey; his beloved wife of 53 years, Elsie Harvey; grandsons, Robert Oram and Jason Harvey. Edgar was a WWII Army Veteran. He loved his family, especially his beloved wife, Elsie. He enjoyed hunting all kinds of wildlife. Services are private.
