Donald Nelson Jr

Donald H. Nelson, Jr., 46, of Las Vegas, formerly of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at home in Las Vegas. He was born on March 20, 1967 in Chicago.

He is survived by his loving son, Donald "Donny" Nelson, III of Las Vegas; sister, Kimberley (Pat) Nelson-Serzynski of Lake Villa; brothers, David Nelson of Sturgis, Michigan and John Nelson of Wadsworth; nieces and nephews, Patrick Serzynski, Nicolette Nelson, Sabrina Nelson, Charlie Corder and Samantha Corder; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Nelson of Libertyville; mother-in-law, Mildred Corder of Wadsworth and brother-in-law, Chuckie (Alison) Corder of Wadsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald H., Sr. and Karen Jean (Schrambek) Nelson Strand; beloved wife of 10 years, Sheryl Nelson; paternal grandfather, Milford Nelson and father-in-law, Charles Corder.

Donald was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 4-8pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2pm at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
