Dolores Luckritz

Dolores M. Luckritz, 82, of Beach Park passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on December 27, 1926 in Centerville, Iowa to Monte and Marie (Thomas) Sager. On June 2, 1951 in Waukegan, Dolores married Howard G. Luckritz. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Howard; three children, Cathy Ann (Gary) Rudzinski of Middletown, OH, Lisa Marie (Dave) Williams of Beach Park and Steven Lloyd (Kelli) Luckritz of Waukegan; two grandchildren, Amber Lynn (Jeremy) Brewer of Middletown, OH and Cody James Luckritz of Waukegan; three great grandchildren, Connor Scott Brewer, Colby Matthew Brewer and Avery Lynn Brewer all of Middletown, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, G.L. Tucker, CMDR-USN retired and brother, Monte C. Sager. Dolores attended Glen Flora Grade School in Waukegan and McKinley Technical High School in Washington, DC where she graduated with the Class of 1944. She worked at the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Washington, DC, Great Lakes Naval Station, ESO-Great Lakes, Veteran's Administration in North Chicago, West's Insurance Agency in Waukegan and The News Sun. She retired from government service after 22 years. Services are private.
