Dennis Drinkwine

Dennis Devert Drinkwine (Denny) age 82, of Waukegan passed away on August 24, 2022. He was born on April 5, 1940 in Waukegan.

He is survived by his sister Judith (Judy) Drinkwine; children, Julie and David; a very special extended family Peggy and Rickey Jarrell; Joangela, Fernando, Johanna, Karina and Lorena Casimiro;  Pedro, Heidi, Brooklyn, Parker and Kennedy Estrada;  Sid, Tiffany, Pearce, Paisley and Preston Estrada.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Devert "Teke" and Marion (Jameson) Drinkwine, brothers, Doug and Darrell.

Denny was a cab driver in Waukegan and formed lasting relations with his customers and friends.  He was a lifelong member of St. Dismas Church and always looked forward to lending a hand at their annual rummage sales.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He loved his family, coffee, visiting with friends, playing bingo and betting on the horses with Pedro.

Friends are invited to join the family at Ascension Catholic Cemetery 1920 W. Buckley Rd. Libertyville, Illinois for graveside services Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
