Delores Godfrey

Delores M. Godfrey, 78 of Beach Park, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her home.

She was born on April 5, 1941 to the late Merelin and Laverne (Ethel) Godfrey in Gladstone, Michigan.  She was married to Jerry King; he preceded her in death on February 19, 2007.  She worked as a bartender for many years at The Note and The Red Rooster, both bars were in Chicago.

Delores is survived by children; Joseph Goodwell and Cheryl Ann Hailey, her sister, Linda Lou Godfrey, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother, Franklin Godfrey.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
