Delberta Cashmore

Delberta M. Cashmore, 59, of Lake Villa passed away on June 9, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington after a six year courageous battle with her illness. She was born on October 30, 1950 in Elizabethtown, IL. On September 7, 1968 in Libertyville, Delberta married Michael K. Cashmore. She is survived by her mother, Jewell Carr of Rosaclaire, IL; loving husband of 41 years, Michael K. Cashmore of Lake Villa; son, Michael T. "Tom" (Dene) Cashmore of Ingleside; daughter, Kimberly "Kim" (Tom) Mason of Fox Lake; brother, Albert E. (Sandy) Carr and sister, Alberta (George) Mitchell both of Rosaclaire, IL; grandchildren, Michael "Mikee" Cashmore, Anthony "Tony" Cashmore, Michael "Mike" Mauch-Mason, Nicholas "Nick" Mason, Austin Mason, Kaylee Mason, Jonathan Mason; great grandchildren, Danyelle Mason, Destiny Mason; many nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert E. Carr in 1982 and sister, Roberta Jewell Carr. Delberta was a thrill seeker enjoying sky diving and bungee jumping. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2-6 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11 am with one hour of visitation prior to services. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, c/o Michael K. Cashmore in memory of Delberta.
