Darlene Christman

Darlene Beebe Christman, 61, of Waukegan, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 25, 1954 in Lewiston, North Carolina. On July 26, 1985 in Portsmouth, VA, Darlene married the love of her life, Stanley. Darlene leaves to cherish her memory, three loving children, Angelito "Lee" (Crystal) Tuazon of Beach Park, Chrisanta "Chrissy" (Dave) McCabe of Waukegan and Maria (Scott Wilson) Vinas of Waukegan; nineteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Richard Lawrence of Portsmouth, VA; two sisters, Lena (Renee) Manela of Virginia Beach, VA, Shirley (Mike) Garrett of Suffolk, VA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ruth (nee Beebe) Lawrence; beloved husband of 31 years who passed away August 31, 2016, Stanley Gene Christman; four brothers, Robert "Bobby" Lawrence, Jack Lawrence, Eddie Lawrence, Jerry Lawrence, and one sister, Mary Anne Adams. A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2pm - 6pm at the American Legion Post #771, 749 Milwaukee Avenue, Gurnee, IL 60031. Coast Guard Military Honors will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the American Legion Post #771 in Gurnee. The Military Honors will take place during the memorial gathering.
