Daniel Beck

Daniel Phillip Beck, 61 of Zion, passed away on Thursday, November 05, 2020 at his home.

He was born on May 26, 1959 to Stanley and Deanna (Armstrong) Beck in Omaha, Nebraska.  He married Pathamavadee Palawon on November 15, 1994 in Alameda, CA.  Daniel spent his career in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.  After retiring from the Navy, he spent over 21 years working as an engineer for CDW before finally retiring. He enjoyed reading, painting, biking, kayaking, building puzzles, and collecting rocks along with many other things.  He was a good husband and father.  He loved traveling the world but loved his family most of all.

Daniel is survived by his wife Pathamavadee, his daughter, Anavinla Beck, his mother, Deanna Kleider, his sister, Bambi Hackett and his brother Kirby (Julie) Beck.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.   Funeral services will be private.

In accordance with current State of Illinois mandates due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all guests will be required to wear a face mask at all times.  There will be a maximum of 25 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and proper social distancing must be practiced.  We thank you for your cooperation.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
