Cindy Bakken, 54, of Beach Park passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on December 17, 1956 in Waukegan to Henry Wilmont and Edith Mae (Waters) Hangebrauck. On August 8, 1980 in Waukegan, Cindy married Richard C. Bakken.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Richard; mother, Edith Martin; two sons, Richard Bakken, II and James Bakken; one brother, James Hangebrauck; one brother-in-law, Roger Sponem; one granddaughter, Angel Marie Bakken and two dear friends, Becky Moore and Karen Tousek. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Karen Ann Hangebrauck and grandmother, Nettie Hangebrauck.
Visitation is Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Monday, 11:00am, November 28, 2011 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
