Charlotte Elizabeth Williams, 80, of Zion passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan She was born on February 8, 1932 in Winter Garden, Florida to William and Elizabeth (Sullins) Crouch.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ellis Williams; three children, Carl (Turine) Williams, Sr., Debbie (Richard) Browne and Sabetha (Paul) Wigutow; three grandchildren, David (Karen) Browne, Carl Williams, Jr. and Ashley Browne; two great-grandsons, Damien and Brady Browne; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Roxie. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters, Elgie Charles, Flarve Young, Ethel O'Quinn, Daniel Crouch, Verna Mae Mooty, Mildred Presser, Randall Crouch and Robert Crouch.
Charlotte was the "Craft Matriarch" of the family. She was a very talented artist who loved to paint and dabbled in ceramics and porcelain. She, along with her favorite niece, Margaret Comarella, made quilts and wedding cakes. We will love and miss her forever.
Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Ryczek officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
