Caroline Cable

Carol J. Cable, age 79, of Gurnee, IL went to be with The Lord on Monday, February 22, 2016 in Hospice Care in Wauconda, IL. She was born on October 21, 1936 in Chicago, IL. Carol enjoyed reading, playing cards, ceramics, traveling, and attending her grandchildren's events. During retirement she was an active member of Women's Clubs, Red Hat Society, and Friends of the Warren Newport Library. She was a loving mother of Michael (Tammy) Cable, Melody (James) Hrnciar, and Gregory (Karen) Cable. Sister to Ernest Bettin of California, proud grandmother of Joshua Powell, Brittany (Derek) Dixon, Jarrett (Alison) Cable, Jacob Powell, Kristine (Kevin) Austin and Jeremy Cable. Cherished great grandmother to Quinn, Ellie, Parker, Hudson and Landon. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia Niva. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at WARREN FUNERALHOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL with visitation from 11:00 am -1:00 pm. Interment will be private.
