Carol Greenwood

Carol L. Greenwood, 86, of Grayslake died June 10, 2010 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst. She was born September 24, 1923 in Chester, Pennsylvania. On June 7, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware, Carol married Thomas J. Greenwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Thomas, Sr.; children, Barbara Camp, Gail Johnson, John (Cindy) Greenwood and Thomas J. Greenwood, Jr.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Marion (Spencer) Houpt and brother, Richard Houpt. Carol was a very active member at Faith Church of Grayslake for many years. Visitation is Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 9-11am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Zack Turner officiating. Entombment is at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
