Carol Butson

Carol Ann Butson, 65, of Gurnee passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Lake Forest Hospital. She was born December 17, 1946 in Waukegan to Carlyle McDaniel and Lillie Welch. Carol married Dale Butson on August 31, 1979 in Lake Forest, Illinois. Survived by her loving family, husband of 32 years, Dale; two daughters, Lori (Paul) Young and Carrie (Eric) Somppi; two grandchildren, Nicole Somppi and Ryan Somppi; one sister, Donna McDaniel and one brother, Wayne (Carol) McDaniel.

Carol cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband, including many trips to the Caribbean.

Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2012 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Funeral services are Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Entombment at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
