Carol Anhalt

Carol L. Anhalt passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at The Cottages of Fox Lake IL. She was born December 11, 1936 in Maywood, IL to O. Ray and Edna Fechtner. On August 18, 1956 in Maywood, IL, Carol married the love of her life, Paul Anhalt Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, and her parents O. Ray and Edna Fechtner.  Carol is survived by her children, Tammy (Rick) Kenney of Excelsior Springs, MO, Frederick Paul Anhalt III (Andrea Lyons-Anhalt) of Lakewood, IL and Rhonda (Tom) Socha of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Joyce Voyles of Lennox, SD; brother, Donald R. (Dolores Sly) Fechtner of Antioch; grandchildren, Joe (Becky) Peterson, Eric (Joni) Peterson, Frederick Paul Anhalt IV, Kimberly (Jesse) Fischer, Crystal (Jared) Kueker, Adam (Savannah) Socha, Alex (Alysa Kotleski) Socha, Dennis Muxlow, Jaron Lyons, Tyler Lyons, and Maxwell Weter; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Peterson, Natalie Peterson, Caelyn Kueker, Corbyn Kueker, Evalynn Muxlow, Mason Fischer,  Karissa Fischer, Wyatt Fischer, Carter Peterson and Maverick Fischer and one great-great-granddaughter, Evelyn Jackson as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol enjoyed camping, spending time with her grandchildren, and doing crafts at The Cottages.  Over the years she helped out with the Grayslake Colts and Grayslake High School Hockey teams.

Visitation is Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10-11 AM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Funeral services will be private. Entombment at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL. Memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to The American Diabetes Association, https://www.diabetes.org/

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with current State of Illinois Phase 4 regulations, all guests will be required to wear a face mask at all times.  There will be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and proper social distancing must be practiced.
