Carlos Antunez

Carlos Enrique Antunez, 67 of Gurnee, passed away on Friday, August 02, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 17, 1952 to the late Cesar Funez and Carmen Antunez in Honduras.  He loved boating, fishing and making Sunday dinners, but he especially loved spending time with his family.

Carlos is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his children; Robert (Christy) Antunez, Michael Antunez, Christina Antunez, Jennifer Antunez, and Michelle Fogiel, along with his large extended Antunez-Funez family in Rio Blanco, Honduras.

He was preceded in death by parents.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 P.M. on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Fr. James Merold will officiate.
