Cameron Carter

Cameron Lee "Cam" Carter, 21, of Waukegan, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2011 in Beach Park, Illinois.

Cameron was born on April 15, 1990 in Waukegan, Illinois and accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated in 2008 from Johnson High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Cameron was outgoing, kind hearted and always willing to help others.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his mother, Holly Thompson, father, Christopher Carter, three brothers; Xavion S. Carter, Savon O. Carter and Severe Carter, one sister; Jashae S. Carter, one step-sister, LaQuaysha Johnson and one step-brother; Anthony Almond, one nephew; Simereon "Pooh Pooh" Carter of Waukegan, paternal grandparents; Bertha Carter and Milton Carter, maternal grandmother; Joyce (Nick) Gatel, maternal grandfather; Newton (Betty) Watkins, paternal great-grandmother; Vergie Simpson, maternal great-grandmother; Beatrice Thompson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandfathers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is Friday, November 25, 2011 from 10:00am-11:00am at Jesus Name Apostolic Church, 208 Lake Street, Waukegan. Funeral services are 11:00am, Friday, November 25, 2011 at the church with Pastor John Caples, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.
