Betty Carrier

Betty J. Carrier, 86, of Waukegan died January 19, 2011 at home. She was born July 12, 1924 in North Chicago. On February 23, 1946 in North Chicago, Betty married Alvin J. Carrier.
Survived by husband of 63 years, Alvin; son, Raymond (Linda) Carrier; grandchildren, Stacy (Rich) Davis, Carrie (Mark) Frederick, Jennifer (Jamie) Karow, Kevin (Beckie Knorr) Carrier, Patrick (Rachel) McGinnis, Lisa McGinnis; great-grandchildren, Alexandria McGinnis, Olivia Karow, Elaina Karow and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Mary Childers, son, Joseph Carrier and daughter, Karen Edmunds.
Betty loved playing Bingo, golfing, line-dancing and spending winters at her home in Yuma, Arizona.
Visitation is Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Memorial services are 11:00am, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville at a later date.
