Bertina Daniels

Bertina Mae Daniels, 77 of North Chicago, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest.

She was born on June 26, 1943 to the late Curtis and Mable (Victoria) Edwards in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  She married Charles Daniels on August 19, 1987.  He preceded her in death on November 18, 2020.

Bertina is survived by her children; Deborah Whitfield, Darlene Thomas, Tina Callahan, Charlene Robinson, Diana (Jerome) Wilson, and Dyonna Daniels, 20 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings; Russell (Mary) Edwards, Gladys Grimes, Andrew (Patti) Edwards, Fannie (Kenneth) Brown, and Michael Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, her son Alfred Joseph Thomas, and her siblings; Leonard Edwards, Jesse Edwards, Rufus Edwards, and James Edwards.

All visitations will take place at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.

In accordance with current State of Illinois mandates due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all guests will be required to wear a face mask at all times.  There will be a maximum of 10 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and proper social distancing must be practiced.  We thank you for your cooperation.

The funeral service will be private.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
