Barbara Nowikowski

Barbara C. Nowikowski, 77, of Gurnee, passed away, May 25, 2013 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. She was born June 13, 1935 in Chicago to John A., Sr. and Agnes Nowikowski. Survived by brothers, John Nowikowski, Jr., Leonard (Nancy) Nowikowski, Edwin (Nancy) Nowikowski, Daniel (Norma) Nowikowski; nieces and nephews, William (Beth), Mark, Teresa, Linda, William, Pamela, Leslie, JoAnn, Wesley, Steve, Robert, Kenny, Matthew, Jennie, Tim; great niece, Gwen (Joe). Preceded in death by parents; brother, Raymond Nowikowski; sister-in-law, Marion Nowikowski; nephew, Robert Nowikowski. Barbara was a dedicated member of St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth for many years. She loved working as a crossing guard for the Gurnee Police Dept., and she loved animals, especially horses, dogs and birds. Visitation is Friday, May 31, 2013 from 2pm-8pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A funeral mass is Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 9:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15000 Wadsworth Rd, Wadsworth (meet at the funeral home at 8:30am on Saturday). Burial at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
